Yes, God has His Called, Chosen, and Faithful-- FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS
“Thou shalt arise, and have
mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her,
yea, the set time is come.”
Brought into His kingdom for such a time
as this,
Placed into His footsteps lest we walk
amiss
God has apprehended vessels of His
grace,
Firstfruits of redemption for each tribe
and race.
In the hour of darkness, these, His
lights, shall shine. Wonderful the timing, wonderful design. With His rare precision God fulfills His
plan, Manifests His glory through His chosen
man.
‘Mid the world’s confusion, perilous
the time, Calm, cool, and collected, balancing the
rhyme Lo, the sons emerging ready for the
hour, Stripped of all self-seeking birthed at
Babel’s tower.
These shall be the anchor while the
storms do blow, When men face the shaking, tossing to
and fro. With a stedfast courage these shall
bless the Lord, Fearing not the tempest, nor the riot’s
horde.
Measured are the bound’ries of man’s
deep travail. By Divine appointment earthly kingdoms
fail. But the sons are waiting such a time as
this, Knowing in His kingdom right and peace
shall kiss.
Thank God for the vision, blessed is the
hope. A people He’s preparing for this day
to cope. When all earth is rushing straight for
the abyss, Precious sons of Zion for such a time as
this!
In every age, for every time, purpose,
and situation, God has always had His man and/or woman on the scene, to be
His instrument to challenge, or whatever the need required. While there
is a sense of destiny which rests upon God’s apprehended ones today,
with a view to that which we are BECOM-ING IN CHRIST. We have been foreordained
(chosen and appointed) in accord-ance with His purpose, Who works out
everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His own will.
A perfect plan is being executed in
precision and awesome wisdom and design. The greater the challenge, the
greater the preparation of the vessel to be used-- but always ready at
the right moment to fulfill His plan. For as great a task as that of
leading Israel out of Egypt God apprehended a baby boy, Moses. It was
not time for Israel’s zero hour of deliverance, but the preparation of a
leader had begun-- 40 years in the king’s palace, followed by 40 years on
the backside of the desert, but he was ready at just the right time.
With a humanistic approach we tend to
view everything in terms of the grand and glorious hour of climax, and we tend
to forget the day by day “moments” which are equally important and God
directed, but “A wise man’s heart dis-cerneth both time and judgment. Because
to every purpose there is time and judgment.” (Eccl. 8:5-6).
The judgments of God are so fitted to
God’s plan, that we do well to walk softly before Him while He executes His
will, deeply conscious that He has a people disciplined, trained, and ready
for such a time as this. Amen.
